Audi’s all-new A4 Avant is now available to order in the UK, with a base price of £27,300 for the 1.4 TFSI 150 PS 6-speed manual version.
The A4 Avant comes with in “core” specification levels, namely the SE, Sport and S line, and with a wide choice of 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter engines, ranging from 150 PS to 272 PS.
Those interested in the entry-level 1.4-liter TFSI, though, will have to wait until April. Anyway, Audi expects its best-seller to be the A4 Avant 2.0 TDI ultra Sport 190 PS.
This version is predicted to retain 40% of its value after three years or 60,000 miles in the UK – something that, according to Audi, puts it ahead of its key premium segment rivals.
With a class-leading 505 liters of luggage capacity (1,510 liters with seats folded), the new estate should make for a comfortable and practical car. The all-digital virtual cockpit and optional Matrix LED headlights help it stand out, as does the 19-speaker 755-watt Bang & Olufsen audio system with 3D sound.
