Just as it did with the i8 Protonic Red, BMW is offering the i3 with an exclusive color through a new limited edition, albeit this one developed in partnership with UK menswear retailer MR Porter.
BMW’s color palette for the regular i3 has been limited to grey, silver, orange, platinum silver, black and white. The new i3 MR Porter Edition mainly stands out thanks to its Tuxedo Blue exterior hue that contrasts against the white hand painted pinstripes on the sides and the matching mirror caps, kidney grilles and door accents.
While we only get a single picture of the interior showing the dark oak wood dash trim with an engraved ‘MR PORTER’ insignia, the German brand says the limited edition also gets brown leather seats with white stitching, and aluminum décor.
We’ll see the i3 MR Porter Edition for the first time in the flesh at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March, with further details on pricing and availability to be announced.
