On paper, the new Ferrari GTC4Lusso takes everything you might have loved about the FF and makes it better. Even though Ferrari calls it a new model, technically, it’s still an upgraded version.
On the other hand, it’s hard to ignore the fact that so many things are new with this car, from the updated design and tech features, to the more powerful V12 and the newly-developed rear-wheel steering system.
We’ve already ran through the numbers in the opening image above, so you might say that Ferrari did as much as they could have done while updating the FF, without stepping on the F12’s toes. Nevertheless, the GTC4Lusso stands on its own, especially when you factor in the 4RM-S (four-wheel drive and steering) system, which also comes with electronic E-Diff and SCM-E dampers.
Inside, it’s almost like you’re looking at a new Ferrari built from the ground up. The Dual Cockpit architecture might not be to everyone’s taste, so be sure to let us know if you’d like your passengers being constantly up to date with what you’re doing behind the wheel. Also, do you think you might get distracted by all those instruments on your right at night time?
Ferrari also launched a new 10.25-inch HD touchscreen which is sure to be appreciated, along with a more compact steering wheel, thanks to a smaller air bag, while the integrated controls are claimed to be more ergonomic.
All that said, which one do you prefer?
