The all-new, fourth-generation Kia Sportage has just been priced in the UK before local sales start on February 5.
The Sportage is the automaker’s best-selling model in the UK and an impressive 18 different variations of the new car will be available.
To get behind the wheel of the car, UK customers will have to part ways with at least 17,995 GBP on road. That particular model comes installed with a small 1.6-liter engine delivering 130 hp and 161 Nm of torque and when combined with a six-speed manual transmission, helps the car reach 96 km/h (60 mph) in 11.1 seconds.
Beyond this variant and its 1.6-liter petrol engine, a number of 1.7- and 2.0-liter turbodiesel powertrains are also offered. When the 2.0-liter turbodiesel is installed in the range-topping First Edition model, it’ll cost 31,645 GBP. In between the entry-level and top-spec models are a number of different trim levels catering to varying budgets.
With the exception of the base model, all 2017 Sportage models come outfitted with either a 7- or 8-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system as standard. Higher-spec models include features like Lane Keep Assist, High Beam Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
