Following an announcement made yesterday that ‘Friends’ actor Matt LeBlanc is the new Top Gear host, a fresh image suggests that Chris Harris might join in shortly.
The photo was posted by Chris Evans, on his Twitter account, and it shows the automotive journalist having a beer at the same table with the already appointed Top Gear presenter: “Welcome but hurry up. You’re late for the weekly TG production meeting“, wrote Evans in the description.
A report, published in mid-December, suggested that Chris Harris would actually become a presenter of the revamped car show, along with German racing driver Sabine Schmitz, who apparently confirmed that she won’t be hosting.
However, despite Harris sitting at the same table with the new Top Gear staff doesn’t necessarily suggest that he will become the third presenter, because he used to provide his skills for the previous production of the show, back when Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond were pulling the strings.
If BBC will continue a similar format for the new Top Gear, then a third presenter should be announced soon, considering that filming has apparently begun and the first episode is scheduled to air on May 8.
