A compact utility vehicle that showcases Hyundai’s vision on future of urban mobility, was unveiled at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.
The design study is called the Carlino. It’s a sub-compact crossover that shares its platform with the i20 and is believed to preview a production version for the Indian market, where it will take on affordable mini SUVs such as Ford EcoSport, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza or Mahindra TUV300.
Hyundai hasn’t released any images or videos with the interior of the Carlino yet, but the concept is said to merge “fashion, function and the latest technologies“, featuring interchangeable audio, visual and navigation units, along with a wireless rearview camera, push-button start and six airbags.
The new Hyundai Carlino Concept promises to offer “unrivaled handling performance on all terrains“. The Korean automaker has not released any other details on the study.
