The new GLC Coupe’s rakish roofline may give it more style over the regular GLC, but it has its downs when it comes to boot space.
The three-pointed star’s answer to this problem could come in the form of an optional roof box, which was featured on one of its latest prototypes that was spied in Europe.
The sleek model looks just about ready to drop its camouflage, as its official presentation is expected to be made in less than a month at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
Its fastback-style body along with the tweaked front and rear ends will be the main differences over the GLC, as the Coupe will mirror its interior and adopt the same engine lineup. A GLC 43 AMG is believed to be the range-topper, using a bi-turbo 3.0-liter V6 mill from the C43 AMG, producing 362hp.
While the GLC is rumored to gain a hydrogen-powered version in select markets from 2017, we don’t know whether Mercedes-Benz will do the same with the GLC Coupe too.
