If you had any doubts about the authenticity of the recently revealed (and leaked) RS3 sedan, this latest low-res video absolutely confirms the existence of the upcoming sports sedan.
Presented during the Audi Summit for the company’s American employees, the car makes another accidentally appearance on the internet, and this time, with (almost) the entire specs revealed by the announcer. Unsurprisingly, it will feature the same 2.5-litre, 5-cylinder TFSI engine mated to a 7-Speed S Tronic gearbox, although it will apparently have a “slight” increase in power.
As it turns out, the smallest ‘RS’ sedan from Audi will develop up to 400 horsepower, while aided by the standard “quattro” all-wheel-drive system, high performance brakes and racing suspension tuning.
From a visual standpoint, the car is characterized by the familiar RS division’s sport elements, including a wider body, a ridiculously aggressive front fascia, and a menacing stance. Even so, there are minor differences between it and the hatchback variant.
The car could make its immediate debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, where the German car manufacturer plans to unveil more world premieres.
