Land Rover continues the development of the mid-size SUV, and our spies have caught one mule out in the cold.
The new generation of the Discovery will now be part of an extended “family”, with the smaller Discovery Sport sitting just under it. This is going to be the production version of the Discovery Vision concept we saw back in 2014 after all so despite the heavy camouflage we can imagine how it’s going to look like.
The British SUV is expected to offer seating for seven passengers, like its predecessor, in a modern and comfortable environment with higher quality materials and the latest safety and off-road electronic systems.
Fuel efficiency will also be dramatically improved thanks to the new aluminum platform that is already underpinning the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport and the Ingenium family of petrol and diesel engines, which will include a hybrid powertrain.
