One may think buying a car as expensive and exclusive as the Pagani Huayra would take years of meticulous money saving and organization, but for Alejandro Salomon, things were a lot more simple.
Salomon is the owner of the bespoke Huayra 730S Edition and given his history of buying cars on a whim, it’s not surprising he did the same with his Huayra.
In his latest YouTube video, the prolific car collector describes how a visit to a high-end dealership in LA to test drive a McLaren P1 soon saw him become one of just 100 people worldwide to buy a Huayra coupe. While many Huayra owners have to wait up to 2 years to take delivery of their cars, Salomon only waited 8 months before being handed the keys to one of the most distinct supercars on U.S. streets.
When configuring his Huayra, the film director took inspiration from the limited-run Pagani Zonda Tricolore. As such, his car includes a gloss blue carbon fiber body combined with grey carbon elements, Italian flag graphics and bright gold wheels.
Briefly, the car was listed up for sale but recently, Salomon confirmed that he’s able to keep the car while still ordering another variant, potentially a hardcore Huayra BC Roadster.
