Land Rover has joined forces with Holland & Holland British producer of shotguns to develop a special edition of the Range Rover.
With production limited to just 30 examples for American shores, each one costs $244,500 MSRP, without destination and handling.
The full-sized luxury SUV is based on the flagship SVAutobiography model and it was crafted by JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division. benefiting from a unique Holland & Holland green exterior paint, distinctive body colored grille and door handles and Holland & Holland badging on the tailgate and side vents.
Inside, it has specially engraved brightwork, unique dashboard finish based on the diamond pattern used by the gunmaker on the fore end of rifles and shotguns, exclusive expresso and tan interior color, branded stitching on the seats, unique floor mats, Holland & Holland illuminated tread plates on all four door sills, rear seats with 17 degrees of recline, wood trim and electrically deployable tables.
Since it was made in partnership with the famous shotgun producer, the SUV benefits from a retractable locking and leather trimmed gun case, in the boot, which can accommodate two Holland & Holland firearms. The case is fixed to the floor and it can slide forward onto the lower tailgate, for easier access.
Power to the Range Rover Holland & Holland Limited Edition comes from the same 5.0-liter V8 engine as the SVAutobiography LWB, rated at 550hp and 502lb-ft (681Nm) of torque. The unit is mated to an 8-speed ZF transmission. Zero to sixty time takes 5.5seconds and top speed is 140mph (225km/h).
