Despite earlier doubts, Rezvani Motors hasn’t turned out to be vaporware and has delivered at least two examples of its Beast sports car, one of which was featured on Jay Leno’s Garage.

The company was kickstarted by Ferris Rezvani and with the help of designer Sami Sadikhov, two variants of the Ariel Atom-based Beast have already debuted.

Now it’s emerged that the niche automaker has a couple more projects in development – so it really means business after all.

Talking to Autoblog, Rezvani announced that later this year a coupe variant of the Beast will be introduced. It seems likely that this variant will utilize the same 500 hp, supercharged 2.4-liter Honda engine as the current model that propels it from naught to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.7 seconds.

Beyond a hardtop Beast, the company’s founder also revealed that a rugged SUV model is currently being under development and will launch mid-to-late 2016.

While Ferris Rezvani declined to release specifics about the SUV, he did say that, like the Beast, it’ll be based around an existing platform, sparking suggestions that it will share its underpinnings with the Ariel Nomad.
