One of the last NSXs equipped with pop-up headlights, before the facelifted version came in, is in search of a new home.

Manufactured in 2001, this right-hand drive example was delivered to the United Kingdom on September 29, finished in Circuit Blue and with black leather interior, electric seats, air conditioning, cruise control and 6 CD-changer.

Some of Honda’s supercar game-changing features include 4-channel ABS, electric power steering, titanium connecting rods, extruded aluminum alloy frame and suspension. During its life, it received an upgrade to a 3.2-liter V6, from the 3.0-liter V6 VTEC unit, mated to a 6-speed manual.

After it changed owners in October 2012, this particular example had a KW V3 adjustable coilover suspension and a full stainless steel exhaust system fitted, while its front bumper was resprayed due to stone chips.

It comes with full service history, having its first inspection in 2003, when it was driven for 4,550 miles (7,323km), while the last one checked on the list is from December 2015, when the odometer indicated 32,973 miles (53,065 km).

The new owner will get all three original keys, a folder of MoTs and invoices, NSX manuals, service book, tools and tire inflator kit.

It will go under the hammer by Silverstone Auctions on February 27 at Stoneleigh Park in Coventry, UK, and the vendor estimates it will sell for £55,000 to £65,000.
