Suzuki has opened the order books for the new Swift SZ-L in the United Kingdom, where it starts from £10,999 for the three-door and £11,499 for the five-door.
Based on the SZ3 mid-grade, the new Swift SZL is equipped with standard LED DRLs, rear upper spoiler and gloss black 16-inch wheels. The list also contains ESP, seven airbags, air-con, USB, Bluetooth, sat-nav, DAB radio, silver stitching on the seats and a sportier steering wheel.
Suzuki’s new special edition model is available in seven new colors, which include the Horizon Orange metallic that’s available for the first time on the Swift.
Power comes from a 1.2-liter Dual VVT engine with 94PS (93hp), which the automaker says “is one of the most powerful in its class”. In the combined cycle, the official figure stands at 56.6mpg UK (47.1mpg US / 5L/100km) and CO2 emissions are as low as 116g/km.
Buyers of the new Swift SZ-L Special Edition can opt for a Nil deposit Personal Contract Purchase followed by 42 monthly payments of £165 for the three-door and £175 for the five-door model. For a £2,772 deposit, monthly payments can be as low as £99 over the same time period.
