A Porsche wearing a Martini livery is a combo that still draws attention, even if the model in question is a humble 924.

The Porsche 924 Martini Rossi Edition was the first limited version of the model in order to celebrate the company’s titles with the 935 and 936 race cars.

This edition was mechanically identical to the normal series 924s, featuring only cosmetic changes such as the Martini stripes on a white body and the funky red carper inside that matches well with the black-red seats.

This 1977 example, offered for sale here, has covered 51,600 miles and is powered by a 95hp 2.0-litre Audi-sourced engine mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. Yes, the power figures are not what you normally associate with the Porsche name but performance was deemed as adequate back then.

The seller claims the body to be in an excellent condition, with the car being recently repainted and the factory Martini decals replaced with new ones. Inside the dashboard has three cracks but the rest of the cabin looks very well taken care off.

The car was stored for 10 years, and that’s perhaps the reason of the overall good condition, with the seller saying that he used it as his daily for the past few months.

Porsche 924s represent the entry point of the Porsche world, with prices remaining at very affordable levels. Despite the cool livery and the metal plaque inside, this example should remain relatively cheap and some lucky bidder might drive a Martini-liveried Porsche back to his home.
