VW released the first teaser image of an upcoming SUV concept heading to Geneva Motor Show.
The new concept is going to preview the production version of a subcompact crossover the company has been developing for some time now.
The company is going to reveal the new crossover concept next to the updated Up! city car and will feature a new approach on the interior design, having “hardly any switches”, as a follow-up of the style that debuted in the BUDD-e electric concept shown in CES.
It’s no secret that VW wants for some time now to enter the small crossover scene, giving us concepts like the Taigun and the T-ROC, and the latest one appears to be near-production as the company’s statement reads: “Volkswagen gives a realistic perspective on a completely new model series and at the same time on the future production model.”
VW also wants to create a series of models under the name Tiguan, including a larger seven-seater and a five-door coupe, so this could probably be the first new member of the upcoming family.
All we have to do is wait for Geneva Motor Show.
