Japanese tuning company Wald International has dropped a couple of revealing renderings of its bold 2016 Prius bodykit.
Thanks to Toyota having overhauled the overall design, the new Prius is already much more head-turning than the its predecessor.
Wald’s upgrades include a custom front splitter and faux lower air intakes with silver outer accents. Additionally, there’s a redesigned bumper as well as dual canards on either side and a strip of plastic that now separates the headlights in two parts.
Looking at the profile, we can see a set of bespoke black and silver wheels with low-profile tires and extended side skirts, while the rear sports quad exhaust pipes and a black diffuser with a Formula 1-inspired fog light.
It isn’t known when the kit will be revealed in full or when it’ll be available to customers, but performance improvements to the hybrid are not on Wald’s menu.
