Even though the A4 has just hit dealerships, some use computer generated trickery to imagine what a possible facelift might look like.
What you’re looking at here is a 2016 A4 Avant with a 3D-grille like the Q7, new front and rear bumpers, new headlights and taillights and a new tailgate.
At the front, the Daytime Running Light design actually seems a little older rather than new-gen, but that’s only because it resembles what we’ve already seen in the current Q3, whereas the A4 moved on to something that really sets it apart from the rest of the range.
So yes, while it’s a little early to speculate what Audi has planned for a mid life-cycle revamp as far as the A4 B9 is concerned, looking at some of their other models for inspiration could turn out to be a productive exercise.
