With the recently updated GT-R drawing plenty of attention to itself since its NY Auto Show debut, leave it to Carlex Design to literally make the older version shine again.

Apparently, the GT-R ‘Robin’ exists because the designers wanted to carry over the sporty character of the exterior to the interior and make something even more special overall.

But while the exterior is plenty interesting in and of itself, it’s the cabin that boasts the most mods, such as the abundance of black Alcantara mixed with contrasting light gray and red stitching – used on the front and rear seats, dashboard, door panels, central console, headliner and floor mats.

The gear shift knob, door handles, air intakes, dials and speaker cover trims are however covered in silver elements.

Thankfully, the owner of the car knew not to leave it as it was from a performance stand point and with the help of Polish tuner ECU-Performance, took this GT-R to 901 PS (889hp) and 1,085 Nm (800 lb-ft) of torque.

It’s definitely not the best we’ve ever seen when it comes to Godzilla, but it should still make for a formidable foe on any given drag strip.
