From chunky dubstep bangers to funky classics, there’s plenty of stunts and exotica to drool over those music videos with an automotive twist.
Cars are just as instrumental to music videos as girls, bling and anything that’s supposed to be a status symbol.
For every type of genre, be it rock, blues, country or electronica, cars have been a part of clips since the beginning.

Jamiroquai – Cosmic Girl
You can’t really go wrong when you put a red Ferrari F40 and F355 Berlinetta together with a purple Lamborghini Diablo and take these three quintessentially Italian supercars on a twisty mountain jaunt, to the funky sounds of well-known petrolhead Jay Kay.
JOYRYDE – FLO
A Lamborghini Gallardo cruising through L.A, stylishly produced with some gnarly dubstep in the background. What’s not to love?
Puretones – Addicted to Bass
This one comes from the 1990s but still holds its own. It is a good way to test subwoofer output in your car and certainly lives up to its name. Footage from the 1979 film Mad Max gives the clip a dramatic Aussie edge.
Aphex Twin – Windowlicker (NSFW)
Two guys in a black NA Mazda Miata hoping to get lucky in L.A. (but not succeeding) are pushed aside by a 38-window limo containing a mysterious fellow: Richard D James. Things get a whole lot weirder after that.
MIA – Bad Girls
British Sri Lankan artist M.I.A. went all out with this famous clip, which features crazy Arab drifting, E36 and E46 BMW 3-series, Alfa 156s, Mercs and cars driving on two-wheels.
