He may have created a new fantasy world transformed into a famous TV series by HBO, called Game of Thrones, but George RR Martin doesn’t fly around on dragons mainly because… well, they don’t exist.
Instead, he chose the same ride as many rich and famous, a Tesla Model S, which he loves so much that he had it finished in purple, a unique color for this vehicle chosen because he is a unique guy, as he explained to a Tesla Motors club member.
“She’s gorgeous, she’s comfortable, and she goes like a bat out of hell“, he said about his vehicle of choice two years ago.
Speaking of which, Martin took a break from writing “The Winds of Winter“, the sixth novel in the “Song of Ice and Fire” series, to display his purple-finished ride alongside its siblings, at a New Mexico Tesla Motors Club meeting, a couple of weeks ago in Santa Fe, to socialize and probably to receive questions on Jon Snow’s fate.
The 67-year old novelist and screenwriter checked out the new Tesla Model X, and even if he hasn’t expressed a desire for the firm’s first SUV, the falcon-style doors could very well spark his interest .
