The exclusive supercar created in the honor of Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday has lowered its roof in new renderings.
Announced in just 40 units, 20 coupes and 20 roadsters, the roadster is, so far, kept in the shadows by the Italian manufacturer.
However, EvrenMilano offers his own interpretation on how an open-top Centenario might look like.
Apart from the detachable roof, which could be similar to the one used on the Aventador, the exotic will offer similar performance to the coupe, which needs just 2.8 seconds to go from naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) and all the way up to 350 km/h (217 mph).
The updated 6.5-liter V12 engine, borrowed from the Aventador, makes the Centenario the most powerful Lamborghini ever, with 19 HP more than what the SV and the even rarer Veneno have on tap.
Its fantasy-car styling might seem too much even by Lambo’s standards. The company though says its large air scoops, aggressive diffuser and extending rear wing are designed to be functional.
All 40 examples of the Centenario have already been spoken for, at a price tag of €1.75 million ($1.9 million), making it an instant collectible and, probably, a future classic.
