The Porsche 911 is a razor-edged performance tool to begin with, but every now and then it needs to be sharpen for more extra oomph. That’s where Techart comes in.

Founded in 1987, the German tuner has 29 years of experience when it comes to modifying Stuttgart’s best, and its recipe seems to work.

Starting with new aerodynamic body-kits for the 991, Techart tries to offer a classy treatment of the vehicle’s characteristic shape (or so it says), offering carbon-fiber and polyurethane RIM parts. A two-piece front spoiler, featuring an integrated splitter, can be added without tempering with the stock active front lip of the 911 Turbo, for example. Techart’s added visual goodies work in tandem with the tuner’s fixed rear wing, being operated by specific parameters for well-balanced aerodynamics.

The lesser Carrera can benefit from these kind of modifications as well, including rear wings, newly shaped rear air outlets, side skirts, roof spoiler and rear diffuser.

Under the hood, Techart’s powerkit bumped the output of the Carrera S from 420 PS (414 HP) and 500 (368 lb-ft) Nm to 460 PS (453 HP) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft). The power enhancement for the 911 is more substantial, on the other hand, increasing the model’s power by an additional 60 PS (59 HP) and 130 Nm (95 lb-ft), to a grand total of 640 PS (631) and 880 Nm (649 lb-ft) of torque.

Naturally, to let the boxer powerplants growl and breathe, Techart offers revised exhaust systems, complete with dynamic valve control.
