A brand new facility offering individuals, groups and corporate guests a unique opportunity to get behind the wheel or a wide range of race cars, is now open on the Slough Trading Estate in Berkshire.

Called the ‘Motion Simulation Room’, this facility looks to separate itself of any other existing simulation centers, mostly thanks to its six professional full motion TL3 simulators, each capable of generating up to 2 G of acceleration, while offering realistic movement across 3 axis of heave, pitch and roll. This is where visitors will also experience the world’s first 200 degree wrap around spherical screen, able to deliver amazing visuals from a 6 million pixel image.

One very clever detail is the fully adjustable cockpit design – meaning that at the press of a button, the driving position can be altered from a Formula 1 car, to a GT or a regular car. Of course, some of the world’s most famous race circuits are also available, and you can race against time or against friends – which means that later on you can see who’s on top of the leader board.

Company owner and former racing driver Jonathan Bell commented:

“Motion Simulation Ltd have been supplying our TL3 simulators to Race Teams and Automotive clients for a number of years now, but we wanted everyone to have the opportunity of experiencing the thrill of the simulator themselves. You have to get inside and drive to appreciate just how realistic it is. With track days and circuit hire becoming unrealistically expensive for many people now, our facility offers the perfect chance to experience a range of exciting race cars, safely and conveniently. The sky’s the limit for motor manufacturers wanting to showcase their products or use our simulators at Motor shows or events to draw in the crowds…”

Prices start from £15 for short practice sessions, while the minimum height to safely operate the simulators is 1,50m or 4’11”.
