Recently, the focus regarding VW’s tiny Up! has been on its new styling elements such as the updated headlights, bumpers, taillights and mirror housings it received.
VW even made sure that the Up! was feeling fresh on the inside too with new colors and a new appearance for the dashboard, as well as new seat designs.
Tech-wise, the 2016 Up! now boasts cornering lights, a multi-function steering wheel and a Pure Air Climatronic system for the first time – which is an air quality sensor with an active biogenic filter, preventing pullutants, fungal spores or allergens from entering the cabin.
And since we’re talking about tech, we need to point out the fact that this red model pictured below is called the “Up! Beats” and its overall purpose is that of making beautiful music together with whatever artist or band the driver happens to be listening to. In other words, this car comes with a 300 W sound system straight outta BeatsAudio’s back yard, as standard – as is smartphone integration by the way.
The white Up! on the other hand, is all about fuel economy, hence the moniker Eco Up!. Beware, there is a clear distinction between the Eco Up! and the e-Up! as the latter is an electric car, while the Eco Up! is a natural gas-powered car.
