Just in case you were ever pondering what the offspring of a Lexus LF-NX Concept and one of Dartz’ SUVs would look like, China’s IAT Auto will give birth to the answer at this month’s Beijing Auto Show.
Very little, or wait, scratch that, nothing is known about this Chinese SUV Concept other than which company made it, and where and when they’ll give it its world premiere – not even its name.
Like we mentioned, IAT’s SUV gives the same impression of someone crumbling a paper design of a car and then trying to iron it out back to shape as the Lexus LF-NX Concept did in its effort to show the world an extreme interpretation of their L-Finesse design language, before it was ironed out into the production NX.
IAT-Auto has been around since 2002, although we first heard about them at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show where they presented three conceptual studies. The company describes itself as a “high-tech enterprise that focuses on automobile development, assembly, auto-parts development, vehicle prototype and tests”.
