After seeing one too many unexplained scratches on his car, an Aussie owner of a Toyota 86 set up a stakeout to catch the culprit – what he discovered may surprise you.
As it turns out, his Japanese sports ride fell victim to an Australian magpie, which he caught on film attacking the car with its beak.
The Australian magpie, which is not to be confused with the self-aware Eurasian magpie that belongs to a different family, as the first is placed in the Artamidae, while the second in the Corvidae family, is known to swoop down and attack unsuspecting intruders to its territory (remember this cyclist?).
Was this little fella attacking its reflection on the car or was it being territorial with the parking space?
