Today, April 1st (get the hint), BMW finally puts its engineering and dynamic expertize to good work with its new xDrive Baby Boots designed “for pure toddling confidence”.
With BMW’s new baby boots, toddlers won’t have trouble running about, because the footwear was designed to offer total stability in all conditions: carpet, ceramic tiles, varnished wood, you name it. Targeted specifically at children under three years of age, BMW says the xDrive Baby Boots employs the well-known and effective four-wheel-drive technology as the perfect solution “for tiny tots looking for maximum stability with zero tumbles”.
Not only that, but the German car maker’s unique traction control features adaptive rubber which can react in a tenth of a second to varying surfaces and conditions. The ultimate strolling device also ensures perfect weight distribution and maximum safety, and, most importantly, the boots also come in pink.
Joking aside, if you haven’t got it by now, this is another of BMWs elaborate ruses for April Fool’s. The company takes its jokes very seriously, though, as it even made a video about the little shoes. And yes, it’s hilarious.
