With only four factory colors offered for BMW’s new M2 Coupe, you’re not exactly spoiled for choice, still if you must have it in a different shade, you could always go the vinyl wrap route.
You see, the thing with the M2 is that it’s produced alongside the rest of the 2-Series family, the 1-Series hatch, the i3 and the i8, at BMW’s Leipzig plant in Germany, which does not offer the option of Individual paints on any cars.
Perhaps the Germans will add new standard colors to the production line or, as is the case with the i3 and i8, introduce limited run editions of the M2 in different shades sometime in the near future, but until that happens, you’re stuck with Alpine White, Long Beach Blue, Mineral Grey or Black Sapphire.
The owner of the pictured M2 went for a matte light green wrap, which isn’t for everyone, but with the first units of BMW’s high-performance coupe arriving at customer hands, it shouldn’t be long before some owners experiment with new color wraps.
