Even though it was showcased at Geneva in all its splendor, the Bugatti Chiron remains, more or less, an overpowered mystery waiting to be discovered.
From a technical standpoint, we already know it develops no less than 1500 PS and 1600 Nm (1,180 lb-ft) of torque, and while its designers explained the concept behind the vehicle’s overall form, it still houses some interesting styling cues that weren’t fully covered by the plethora of photos and videos – especially at the interior.
Although the Chiron’s design language seems familiar, it’s totally different from the Veyron in every aspect. Sporting a classy two-tone paint scheme, the hypercar comes with a tan-leather interior, perfectly contrasted by the raw-carbon fiber elements inside the cabin. The instrument cluster, for instance, uses three TFT screens with a central analog speedometer that shows the incredible 500 Km/h (310 mph) mark.
Moreover, the infotainment system fades away as the speed increases so that the driver won’t be distracted, while the audio system (provided by Accuton) features one-carat diamond membrane in each of the four tweeters for that extra clarity.
The same obsessive attention to details can be found on Bugatti-branded accessories, such as jackets and purses. The video continues showcasing a couple of these hand-crafted fashion items and their characteristics that go nicely with your $2.6 million set of wheels.
