Less than 3 weeks until its official presentation will be made, Mazda has released more teaser images with the newest member of its crossover family.

Named CX-4, the upcoming vehicle will slot in below the CX-5 and, unless Mazda changes its mind, will only be available in China.

Inspired by the Koeru Concept that was displayed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, it will adopt the Kodo design language and will bring the firm’s signature grille that will flow into the LED headlights, long bonnet, coupe-like roofline and 19-inch wheel option, with a two-tone finish.

Mazda hasn’t provided any info on the CX-4 so far, but it seems that inside, it will come with leather upholstery, wood trim, a similar dashboard design to the one seen on the Mazda3 and updated Mazda6, MZD Connect display, Commander Control knob for the infotainment system and an electronic parking brake.

The engine lineup hasn’t been confirmed either, it is nevertheless expected to come from the CX-5. Full details on the new Mazda CX-4 will be revealed on April 25, during the 2016 Beijing Auto Show.
