Development of the 2017 E-Class Estate is close to being wrapped, as it will debut in June and go on sale this fall.
The most practical version of the new W213 is, according to Autocar, having a rear design similar to that of the C-Class Estate, with chrome strip between the taillights and chrome surrounds on the exhausts.
Most of the four- and six-cylinder powertrains found on the four-door E-Class will be carried over to the Estate, while the lineup will be completed by the range-topper AMG E 63, with its AMG GT-sourced 4.0-liter V8, producing around 600 HP.
The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate is expected to start from approximately 37,000 ($53,160) in the UK, meaning just a little over 1,000 ($1,435) over the base saloon. Order books should open in October, following its debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, and deliveries will begin next January.
