Renting a supercar for those special moments in life can turn into a very unpleasant experience very quickly.
A groom who rented a Ferrari 458 Spider for his wedding crashed it into the side of a house in Burnley, UK.
The 25-year old man put down a £5,000 deposit to rent the exotic car for his wedding weekend and now is facing a £20,000 excess cost, bringing the total up to £25,000 (around $36,000 in current exchange rates).
According to a report, the accident happened a day after the wedding, when the driver’s foot tripped on the car mat and pressed the throttle instead of the brake as he was arriving at a friend’s house with his bride.
Both passengers emerged unscathed out of the crashed Ferrari. At least they now have a cool wedding story to share in the years to come.
