Over the years, the Nurburgring has claimed many lives, shattered dreams and left cars completely destroyed, but it has also created some of the best drivers out there.
In an attempt to put an end to flat-out laps, the track’s officials had imposed speed limits last summer but they were recently lifted, allowing carmakers to rent the circuit to measure the performance of their models and brave amateurs to keep their right foot down again.
However, in between having a blast at a track day and having things transformed into a nightmare is a thin line, one that the driver of this Nissan Skyline R34 learned the hard way after losing control while exiting a curve. With grass under its tires, the car headed towards a barrier, which was stopped it at the cost of a cosmetic surgery.
Judging by the severity of the impact and the short video, it seems that nobody was injured during this unfortunate incident, though, the Japanese sports car will plenty of repairs in order to return to its former glory. The accident happened over the weekend, on Sunday, April 3.
