Following the CitiJet Concept from 2014 and the FunStar Concept from last year, Skoda has announced its third apprentice-made study.
Aptly dubbed the ‘Skoda Apprentice Car III’ for now, it has been created by a team of 27 young men and women, of the firm’s Vocational School, who have been working on it for several months, with support from instructors at the company’s headquarters, in Mlada Boleslav.
“It’s great to see our students’ passion and commitment to this project. The next emotive vehicle study has arisen with Skoda’s third Trainee Car“, said the brand’s Board Member for HR, Bohdan Wojnar.
Skoda’s new apprentice-made study is a month away from being finalized, as it will be presented to the public in May, with a compact-sized body, a long glass roof and two-tone paint, in red and black.
Founded in 1927, the brand’s Vocational School offers young people 3- or 4-year training programs in technical subjects. There are almost 900 apprentices currently enrolled on 14 full-time training courses and approximately 100 employees are advancing their qualifications in the post-graduate program.
