Wouldn’t it be great if there were an electric car that had easily replaceable batteries? The writers of Saturday Night Live think they have a solution with Mercedes-Benz.
It’s called the Mercedes-Benz AA Class and, to tell us more, here’s the star of Veep, Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
A devoted environmentalist, Louis-Dreyfus shows us how this new Mercedes offers electric power with the convenience of 9.648 replaceable AA batteries. Simply swap in a new Duracell every three miles or so. And accessing them is as easy as pulling them out of your Walkman from 1986. Why hasn’t this caught on yet?
And the top speed? Well, find out by heading over to Hulu and checking out the full skit.
