If this brown Jaguar doesn’t tickle your fancy, then you should check if your heart is beating.
This build started out as a $1200 buy off eBay before its owner started overhauling it. And overhaul he did. The engine is now an LS3 V8 fully built engine by Lingenfelter, making 575hp at the crank and mated to a six-speed gated manual gearbox.
The seats came from an Audi B5 RS4, found at a junkyard before they were re-upholstered in leather. Even the door handles were replaced with what looks like the ones F-Type uses for a more streamlined appearance of this classic-shape Jaguar.
And unlike other engine-swapped projects, everything works as it should on this long-wheelbase Jaguar. For a cost of around $38,000, this car is a lot of awesome for the money.
Matt Farrah takes this rare build for a spin on another One Take episode, barely containing his enthusiasm. We feel you Matt.
