The 250 GTO isn’t the only Ferrari to go for dizzying numbers at auctions across the globe.

A 275 GTS/4 NART that’s up for sale is expected to go for more than €19 million (~$21,500,000).

Produced in 1968, it was part of collaboration between Enzo Ferrari and American Ferrari distributor Luigi Chinetti, who wanted to boost the 275’s sales with a limited edition convertible. It sports the NART (North American Racing Team) badge and it was made famous by Steve McQueen, who drove it in “The Thomas Crown Affair”.

Ferrari produced 10 examples of the limited edition 275 GTS/4 NART and this particular unit is the last one of the series. It is also the only one delivered new to Europe and, on top of that, it is the only one painted in Grigio Scuro (grey) from factory. However, during its 48 years of existence, it has been redone in a dark red metallic and had received a new beige leather interior trim.

Despite changing hands a few times and going through some revisions, it still retains the 300 HP V12 engine, it has matching numbers and it is Ferrari Classiche certified. The 275 GTS/4 NART is one of the most valuable cars offered at auction by RMSothebys Monaco event, on May 14, which will also include a 1952 Ferrari 212 Inter Cabriolet, 1972 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider, 1990 Riva Ferrari 32 and 1997 Porsche 911 GT1 Evolution, among others.
