If you want to search for a great car collection, Dubai is probably the best place to start, as car vlogger Alejandro Salomon – aka Salomondrin – was keen to demonstrate.
Accompanied by his buddies and armed with camera gear and flair, the Youtuber slash businessman slash movie producer took the path to the Middle East in order to experience and document his own take on the motoring culture of Dubai.
As we all know, the most populated city in the United Arab Emirates has a love story with supercars, and so does Salomondin’s friend, who generously provided three of his most prized cars for a test drive.
We’re talking about a McLaren P1, a refurbished Ferrari F40 and a Pagani Zonda Cinque, albeit the other cars in his collection were just as exclusive. It’s don’t see an Enzo and a Carrera GT sharing the same garage everyday now, do you?
Moving on, don’t expect this half-an-hour long video to be a comparison between the cars, because each and every one is different and special in its own right, whether we’re talking about the 904 HP hybridized, 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged McLaren P1, or the 669 HP, 7.3-litre, naturally aspirated Zonda. However, there is one occurring theme with all three of them and that’s driver involvement.
Even though the F40 and the P1, for instance, are separated by a 27-year gap, both of them mirror the characteristics of racing cars, appealing with their raw power.
