BMW now offers a limited edition of the M4 Coupe in Spain, equipped with M Performance parts and benefiting from a slight power bump.
Dubbed M4 CS (Competition Sport), the high-performance two-door compact is offered in just 60 units priced €132,900 ($151,425), a hefty €40,800 ($46,485) more than the regular M4.
Upgrades include an extra 19 PS (19 HP) for a total of 450 PS (444 HP), cutting the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time by 0.1 seconds to 4.0 flat, and the electronically imposed 250 km/h (155 mph) top speed limit has been removed, so the CS tops out at 280 km/h (174 mph).
The M4 CS also has carbon-ceramic brakes from the M4 GTS, which help reduce weight by 6.5 kg (14 lbs). The standard 20-inch alloy wheels are also lifted from the GTS, only with in a silver finish, . All units benefit from the adaptive M chassis and differential, at no extra cost, and are set apart furthermore by the M Performance parts that count front spoiler lip, side skirts, side mirror caps, rear diffuser and rear wing, all made from carbon fiber.
Customers will get to choose between three exterior colors, San Marino Blue, Brilliant White and Jerez Black, each combined with a different cabin trim such as Individual fine Merino leather with blue stitching, Individual Merino fine grain leather with Cohiba seats and instrument panel and Individual Merino leather with fine-grained Goldbraun, respectively. The trims are joined by the newly designed seats and special plaque that will remind owners that they’re sitting in a limited edition; moreover, customers will also receive a special key chain.
BMW has opened the order books for the M4 Competition Sport Edition, with deliveries to start right away.
