As many as 20 Chinese Tesla Model S owners embarked on a journey to explore East China, visiting many sites, only having to stop at charging stations along the way.
The owners offer their impressions about the cars and even talk about how Hangzhou (capital of Zhejiang Provice) has some of the strictest driving restrictions. The city itself is said to have a a very efficient public transportation network where lots of buses, trolleys and taxis feature hybrid power (diesel-electric).
In China, there are Superchargers in most cities (90 stations in total) and thousands of destination chargers can be found in between cities, making your EV journey much less stressful.
One of the Model S owners says that “once you drive a Tesla, there’s no going back to gas”, and while it sounds a bit overstated, the American EV-maker is certainly hoping that this is how most, if not all of their owners feel.
