In some cases, having somebody swoop in and steal your parking spot after you’ve been waiting for ages, can be one of the most frustrating things that can happen on the road.
You can easily argue that it’s even worse when it’s premeditated in a very sneaky way, which is what we’re witnessing in this video. As the car drives up to a spot where a Mazda CX-3 is about to pull out, a family shows up and basically tries to call dibs on parking in that exact place, holding it for the driver of a silver Corolla.
We’re curious to know what you guys would have done if you were behind the wheel of the dashcam car. The guy filming was pretty much powerless to do anything but argue his case, saying that their car wasn’t there when he rolled up. The kid on the bike even goes as far as to block him off so that he can’t occupy the spot before the Corolla can.
According to the description, the lady driving the blue CX-3 said that the family had been waiting there for a while – but does that automatically mean they should have it? Plus, the protagonist insists he was there before any of them, and it is a pretty close call looking at the footage.
Still, no car means no right to hold up a spot, correct?
