Cars and Coffee has grown into a weekly gathering of various unique and interesting automobiles, brought together by enthusiasts looking to expand their view on the motoring culture.
And that’s why these kind of meetings are a clash of different automobiles, stretching from all eras; from mid-engine sports exotics, to muscle cars, to old-timers – everyone is invited to take part and present their beloved vehicle.
But things get even more interesting when time comes for each attendee to go its own way, as the cluster of cars begins to dissipate and owners rev, accelerate or perform various maneuvers to entice the onlookers; as stunning as a high-end car looks while parked neatly amongst other automobiles, its true pièce de résistance is on the move.
Even so, often some owners are overzealous with their high-powered vehicles and end-up crashing while trying to impress the crowd, like this particular drag-spec Chevrolet Camaro.
While leaving Reno Cars and Coffee, the man tried to offer a sight worth recording and ended up in the fence separating the traffic lanes. A drag dedicated car might be street legal, but that doesn’t mean it can’t (and won’t) bite at the most inappropriate time. To make matters even worse, the owner tried to “mend” things by driving the car out of the way, but it looks like he damaged it even more.
Nevertheless, according to the video description, he plans to rebuilt it for Hot August Nights this year, albeit he’ll probably have to rebuild his self-esteem as well. Oh well, at least it wasn’t a Mustang this time.
