This ultra-rare 458 Speciale by Novitec Rosso was caught on camera recently, which makes for a sighting almost as special as the name of the car itself.
Visually, this Italian exotic comes with a wide array of Novitec bits, ranging from the custom front spoiler lip to the strut, air-guide trunk-lid, side skirts, air-intake louver side-window, diffuser (plus fins) and even of course a fixed rear wing.
Thanks to Autogespot and car spotter Remy, we can check out the car in a real-world setting that’s very different to those “mostly studio” images we saw back when Novitec first introduced the Rosso tune for the Speciale.
In terms of performance, we’re looking at 636 HP and an increased top speed of 328 km/h (205 mph). Compared to the stock model, the difference isn’t big, but it might help it get from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in slightly under 3 seconds seen as how the Speciale will already hit that mark without any engine and aero modifications.
The German tuner also offers two different exhaust tip options, where customers can choose between chrome and black to go with whichever exterior color their 458 Speciale is rocking.
Interestingly enough, the owner of this car chose to stick with the factory 458 Speciale wheels instead of the custom 21″ Novitec NF4 rims.
