Land Rover was spotted testing the facelifted version of the Range Rover Sport with our spies able to take a look inside the cabin.
The second generation of the Range Rover Sport has been around since 2013, with the British company getting ready for its mid-life facelift which includes minor revisions inside out and a few mechanical upgrades.
Under the partially camouflaged body we can see that Land Rover has given the new Range Rover Sport a more aggressive front end treatment inspired by the SVR version, featuring bigger air intakes on the front bumper.
Other revisions will include a slightly different lighting pattern for the lights all around and new designs for the alloy wheels, leaving the successful shape of the big SUV largely unchanged.
The biggest changes can be found inside though, with the company adding its latest infotainment system which comes with a wider touchscreen display. The company already offers a 10.2-inch option of their InControl Touch system in the recently updated Evoque so it’s safe to say that the new system will crawl up its way in the range.
The engine range will remain largely the same, with the company tuning the existing powertrains for better performance and efficiency while the range-topping SVR with the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 might gain an additional 25hp for a total of 567hp (575PS).
The new 2017 Range Rover Sport will make its debut sometime towards the end of the year, probably at the Paris Motor Show this October.
