A blue body with red accents is a very difficult theme to pull off no matter the car, yet Bentley went with that brazen combo for the debut of its new 2017 model year GT Speed models presented at a special event in New York City this week.
The four members of the updated Continental line up are the GT Speed Coupe and Convertible in regular and Black Edition trims, all of which get a 7hp and 20Nm (15 lb-ft) bump for the 2017MY at 633hp (642PS) at 619 lb-ft (840Nm) from the 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine that propels the coupe from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.1 secs) and on a top speed of 206 mph (331km/h).
If you go for the Black Edition models that cost an additional $12,935, you get contrast colors for the front splitter, side skirts, mirror caps and rear diffuser in four different shades named Hallmark, Beluga, St James’ Red and Cyber Yellow, as well as two-tone interior leather.
US customers can order the 2017 Continental GT Speed now with prices starting from $240,300, excluding delivery and taxes, with deliveries beginning this summer.
