A couple of weeks ago we brought you what was thought to be a “classic” case of extreme jealousy combined with psychotic behavior, in the form of a vandalized Range Rover.

The full-sized SUV was spotted in Central London, with its body seemingly destroyed by the hands of an angry spouse, who supposedly decided to take revenge on her husband by writing “Cheater” and “Hope she was worth it” on the vehicle.

However, there’s a new video revealing that this was nothing more than a publicity stunt, put together by the guys from R-Tec Auto Design and Revere London, who revealed the whole process of “vandalizing” a Range Rover using fake paint.

The two companies “decided to do a publicity stunt to showcase the new Revere Knightsbridge body kit for the Range Rover Vogue. We parked the Range Rover outside Harrods and watched. What we didn’t expect was the stunt to go viral worldwide“, R-Tec writes.

The good part is that “no cars were harmed during this stunt”, but the bad one is that some will probably be disappointed that there is nothing real behind this story.
