The tenth and final teaser of the Mazzanti EV-R reveals the hypercar that will be known as the Evantra Millecavalli.
Based on the regular Evantra, which was presented to the world three years ago, the hypercar is a more extreme version the name of which translates to “a thousand horses” in Italian, referring to its total output and staying true to the company’s original statement that it will be the most powerful street-legal car to ever come out of Italy.
Speaking of performance, a 7.2-liter bi-turbo V8 engine, based on the 7.0-liter used in the Evantra, is responsible for developing 1,000 HP and 1,200 Nm (885 pound-feet) of torque, allowing the exotic to shoot from rest to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 2.7 seconds and up to a top speed of 250 mph (402 km/h).
Design-wise, it could fly under the radar to the untrained eye as an Evantra, but connoisseurs will recognize its new front bumper, updated hood, air scoop on the roof and large rear wing.
Only 25 examples of the Mazzanti Evantra Millecavalli will roll off the assembly line with the car’s debut to take place at the 2016 Turin Auto Show in Italy, on June 8.
