Celebrating the market launch of the new Clubman ALL4, MINI has dropped a new photo gallery with its first non-SUV offered with four-wheel drive.
Power comes from either a 189 HP 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine or a 187 HP 2.0-liter diesel, on the European market. The first comes with a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an optional 8-speed automatic, while the latter is only available with the automatic transmission. In the US, customers have to choose between a 134 HP 1.5-liter turbo 3-banger petrol and the same 2.0-liter turbo with 189 HP.
Some of the features equipping the all-wheel drive Clubman include Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Traction Control, Electronic Differential Lock Control and Performance Control, but for an extra cost, MINI will throw in the Dynamic Damper Control and sports suspension system. The ALL4 rides on standard 17-inch alloy wheels and options count 18- and 19-inch ones.
In the UK, the base entry-level Cooper S Clubman ALL4 carries a price tag of £24,305 ($34,889), while for the Cooper SD Clubman ALL4, prospective buyers will have to pay £27,410 ($39,346). The cheapest version of the four-wheel drive Clubman in the United States costs at least $26,750 and the Cooper S Clubman ALL4 will set you back an extra $3,550.
