Introduced with a neck-twisting experience last year, initially as the GT3, the Vantage GT12 has captured the attention of the German tuning specialist.
The GT12 is already pumped up straight from the factory, so there’s no need for body kits. In this particular car, one of just 100 produced, its owner didn’t even want a power hike – only a set of aftermarket wheels in a two-tone finish.
The list of demands for the new shoes wasn’t easy to fill, as these had to get TUV approval and be able to cope with the GT12’s top speed of 298 km/h (185 mph). Wheelsandmore fitted the bill, providing a set of forged one, with a six double-spoke pattern and ultra-concave center hubs. The wheels are 10.5×20-inch in size at the front and 12.0×20-inch at the rear, wrapped with Dunlop Sportmaxx GT rubber sized 265/30 and 325/25 respectively.
Since the V12 from the Vantage S that is massaged to deliver an additional 27 PS for a total of 600 ponies, performance remains the same, with the GT12 doing the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in just 3.6 seconds.
